The Migrant Management Operational System Application (MiMOSA) is the global application used by IOM staff to record migrant biographic and demographic information required for case processing and services for Assisted Voluntary Returns, Counter Trafficking, Medical, and Movement activities.
MiMOSA is a web application developed in collaboration with the Department of Migration Management (DMM) and the Department of Operations (DOE) to streamline migrant processing, improve data quality, security, and reporting based on requirements provided by the end user community involved in the project over the last year.
MiMOSA includes functionality for Migrant Assistance Division (MAD) users processing migrants under Assisted Voluntary Return (AVR) and Counter Trafficking programmes, Migrant Health Assessments (MED) and Movement (MOV) Operations users providing migrants transportation assistance.
MiMOSA Version 4.4 is scheduled to go live on 11 November 2013.
The key features of this Release are:
Performance improvements for Medical with performance improvements technically (e.g. faster response times for key functions) and process wise (e.g. changes to navigation, introduction of functional improvements)
Change requests for Migrant Assistance Processing (MAD)

The MiMOSA User Community is encouraged to read the Release Notes MiMOSA Release Version 4.4 which is available here to prepare for the changes and schedule time to practice in the MiMOSA Training Environment prior to Sunday 10 November.
The Training environment will be available with the new version from Wednesday 30 Oct.
